Final Sub-Grades:
Centering 9.5

Yes, the ever popular Blastoise from Base Set. Just one problem... it has the word STAGE - ARGH!! Still, it looks great in the old Beckett slab where subgrades are shown on the back. Anything from Base Set is usually worth collecting, especially the Kanto starters!

Lily Pad Mew RARE released in 1997 at the Pokemon Jr Stamp Rally in Japan. Graded 6 out of 10 by PSA.

Found online from a fellow collector in 2011.
Value: $30-$40

When this Rally was going on in Japan (1997) they let children visit booths and collect / buy stamps. If they collected enough, they could redeem them for two promo cards: Lily Pad Mew & Surfing Pikachu. That makes this Mew one of the earliest Pokemon cards ever produced!

This card can be quite valuable in Mint / Gem Mint grades. Even fetching $150 on occasion. Alas, as a Near Mint 8 it can't say the same. BUT it's still an ever-popular Charizard!

Ampharos holo from the 2002 Aquapolis expansion. Certified PSA 8 out of 10.

Found at online auction in 2010
Value: Under $10

Sparkle, sparkle and more SPARKLE! This card got an extra layer of foil when it was printed! Wear on the corners brought it to an 8 grade. Personally, it's worth keeping for the eye appeal. xD
